Nuggets F Martin misses practice

DENVER (AP)—Forward Kenyon Martin(notes) has missed the Denver Nuggets’ finalpractice before Game 3 of their first-round matchup with Utah.

Martin was held out of Thursday’s workout as a precaution, allowing him torest the balky left knee that caused him to miss 18 games late in the season.

Acting coach Adrian Dantley says Martin’s knee feels good and he will be agame-time decision for Friday night.

Martin has played in the Nuggets’ last five games, including the first twoplayoff games against Utah, since returning April 10 from platelet rich plasmatherapy to treat a severe bout of tendinitis in the knee.

The Nuggets headed to Salt Lake City on Thursday with the series tied 1-1.
