Sixers F Brand returns from injury

DALLAS (AP)—Philadelphia 76ers forward Elton Brand(notes) has returned to the lineupMonday night against the Dallas Mavericks after missing three games with a soreright hamstring.
Brand, who was injured last Tuesday against Washington, was the first 76ersplayer off the bench and entered with 5:46 left in the first quarter. He came inaveraging 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 14 games this season.
Meanwhile, Dallas center Erick Dampier(notes) started after missing eight gameswith an undisclosed illness.
Dampier was taken to the hospital during warmups against Detroit on Nov. 15.
